The Macaronesia

The term ‘Macaronesia’ from the ancient Greek μακάρων νῆσοι, or Islands of the Blessed, was coined by the English botanist and naturalist, Philip Baker Webb (1793-1854) to describe several groups of volcanic islands (Azores, Madeira, Salvagens, Canaries and Cape Verde) that share various natural and climatological features.

The Macaronesia is formed by a group of archipelagos with characteristics in common, and not only in the geological aspect. Considering our fishing vacations, they shine in being safe destinations, with a vast experience in tourism, and consequently with a highly recommended infrastructure for this purpose. These archipelagos have a high security in all aspects, where we can enjoy our vacations with our families, where our security is also sanitary and legal. We can also pay with the euro in all places, although for example in Cape Verde the peso is also used.

Species to capture

The seas that encompass Macaronesia have the optimal conditions to host an enormous marine diversity in their waters. So much so that each island has at least 100 types of high-reproduction fish that will allow us to enjoy their fishing without affecting the marine ecosystem.
